Role Overview: As an Associate reporting to the VP of Finance, you will play a vital role in supporting the finance function of our company. You will work closely with the VP of Finance and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting, analysis, and strategic decision-making. Your responsibilities will span various areas within finance, with a particular focus on digital infrastructure and cryptocurrency operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting and Analysis:
   • Assist in preparing financial reports, statements, and analyses, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
   • Conduct financial research and analysis to support strategic decision-making and business planning.
   • Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, monitoring performance against targets, and providing variance analysis.
2. Digital Infrastructure Finance:
   • Support the VP of Finance in managing financial aspects related to the digital infrastructure operations, including cost analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as IT and Operations, to ensure financial alignment and efficient resource allocation.
   • Evaluate financial risks and opportunities associated with digital infrastructure investments and provide recommendations for optimization.

4. Financial Controls and Compliance:
   • Assist in maintaining financial controls and implementing processes to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
   • Support financial audits and coordinate with external auditors as required.
   • Contribute to the development and improvement of financial systems and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications and Skills:

The ideal candidate will be a 2021 or 2022 Investment Banking Associate

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) is a plus.
• Prior experience in finance, accounting, or related roles, preferably within the digital infrastructure or cryptocurrency industry.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide meaningful insights.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with digital assets, blockchain technology, and the cryptocurrency market.
• Proficiency in financial analysis tools, spreadsheets, and financial management software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
